That vulnerable part of you, the needy part, the d That vulnerable part of you, the needy part, the dependant, rejected, abandoned one.... it needs you. It is reaching out to be seen, heard, validated. You alone can hear & understand what noone else can. You can offer the comfort, support & nurturance necessary to overcome the pain.
Imagine that part of you reaching out to you, imagine it's vulnerability, imagine it's need. Now imagine reaching back with compassion, care, unconditional love & support. Imagine meeting the need. Imagine being there to see, hear & nurture yourself in your deepest vulnerability. Imagine how healing that is, to be  met where noone else has met you. This is a gift from self to self, to parent the unmet child, to repair the ruptures from within.

One of our greatest challenges from the informatio One of our greatest challenges from the information age is to let go of all we think we know & enter into a place of curiosity of now.  Our patterns of thinking can keep us in unhelpful cycles. Instead of navigating this moment with an openness to learn & discover, our habitual thinking can over-ride our presence with past associations. Again, we think we know. We interpret & often mis-interpret, we analyse but often from our own bias or even our own pain points. 
By standing back & returning to observation with curiosity opens us up to the now, to the new. We become open to understanding rather than judging, to clarifying rather than mis-interpreting, to learning rather than teaching, to listening rather than reaffirming our own position.

Notice how our whole system needs time to settle... our busy minds, our physical sensations, our emotions, our nervous system... they all require time, patience & often soothing to regulate & settle. 

When was the last time you gave time to your system to reset & regulate itself? 

Let's take a moment now to do just that. BREEEEAATHE...

You might notice that your body wants to move. 
Oh hello active body 👋 Do you need to move a little bit more before you can allow me to settle?  Let's stretch out or shake out that which is hindering  peace in this moment. Let's embrace the movement of our bodies & release that which doesn't serve us in this moment.

Are you interested in how the moon affects the tid Are you interested in how the moon affects the tides & how it also affects us emotionally? 🌙 

I witness many emotional tides throughout a moon cycle in both my own process & the process of my clients. In fact even the menstrual cycle can be called a woman's moon cycle as it also contains phases like that of the moon phases... all of which changes our hormonal balance & can change our mood. It's fascinating to see our connection & attunement to the greater expansiveness of the universe.

The new moon phase is a time for coming inwards, reflecting upon the last month & planting seeds for the path ahead. 

Let's take a moment to quiten our minds, to listen inwards & allow our intention to arise within us. Feel it in the womb area of your being & bring the love from your heart to it. Allow a time of stillness to bask in the gratitude for what is to come. 

It is such a beautiful ritual for embodying intentional living.

When we integrate the disowned, denied or rejected When we integrate the disowned, denied or rejected parts of ourselves, we are transformed by authenticity.

The real self emerges.

I have prepared a practical, experiential guide with the wonderful @anokhalearning which offers the opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with those parts that we have come so fond of denying... those insecurities, the vulnerabilities, the fear, anger, hate, the power, the love, the joy.... all of those aspects of self that are being kept in the cold. Let's bring them back in a warm embrace. Let's let them know that they are also loved, accepted, needed within oneself.

When we tell our story, we often replay the same t When we tell our story, we often replay the same tale over & over... our story becomes a script & can keep us stuck believing old narratives. It can feel comfortable to "know" on an intellectual level but often that "knowing" keeps us away from the authenticity of now. 
To release the old, let's experience the now by coming into our body sensations & tending to our emotion. Emotion is energy in motion & when we experience emotion, we experience this energy as physical sensation in our body.
As you think of the old script, notice what happens in your body... describe it... "my chest feels tight", "My tummy has butterflies", "I have a block in my solar plexus" 
Bring your loving, slow, tentative attention to the area. Bring your presence to it.
Now bring your breath in to support you in the process & create space for this physical sensation to reveal itself & unfold before you. 
It is a wonderous experience to tend to your physical sensations with care & love. It aids the release of any blocked energy/emotion in our bodies so that script can finally change to a more empowered narrative.

Presence, oneness, stillness, peace, source... dif Presence, oneness, stillness, peace, source... different names, yes, but the experience of an empty mind is simply heavenly. 

Outside of meditation, here are 5 simple tips to help quieten the mind: 
1. Focus on your breath e.g. In 2, 3, 4, Out, 2, 3, 4, In, 2, 3, 4, Out, 2, 3, 4.
2. Imagine your focus is like a toddler that you need to keep putting on a step... keep bringing it back to that step! e.g. Focus your attention on the mid point of your forehead & every time a thought comes, go back to that point again. 
3. Answer the thought e.g. "What if I mess up?" "I am capable, I will do my best & if I make a mistake I will learn & grow... then I can support myself to do better next time around."
4. Give yourself permission to not know. e.g. "There is no point over-thinking this because I don't have the answer, all will be revealed in it's own time."
5. Embrace the space between thoughts & observe it. e.g. "Oh WOW, I lasted a whole minute without a thought there, that was peaceful!"

What are you letting go of... by the light of this What are you letting go of... by the light of this full harvest moon? 

Letting go can be any area of difficulty for so many... We can truly fear the void & can become paralysed by the unknown. 
Acknowledge the fears you have about letting go... think of the fearful child within you, they need your reassurance & comfort... give that to yourself through a commitment to yourself. You are there to nurture & support yourself through any difficulty. You have your own back in this & that which is much bigger than you has it too if you lean in softly to feel it.
Now set your intention to let go, to surrender that which doesn't serve you.

Performing a ritual, lighting a candle, creating an artwork, writing a letter to your past or future self, or even dancing by the light of the full moon,  can all enhance the experience & can bridge that gap between holding on & letting go. 😉 Ritualising an ending can be a wonderful rite of passage 🌕
